The Joyful Friar Podcast explores the soulful, the meaningful, and the mystical in three different ways. First, Afterlife, Interrupted stories, in which someone who died suddenly and traumatically seeks my help and the help of my prayer partners. Second, Compassionate Responses, to readers’ and listeners’ questions and concerns that arise from those stories. And third, Spiritual Practices, influenced by the Catholic Christian tradition I’ve been shaped by that reveal how goodness is at work throughout the universe and within each of us. Finding Joy with Guest: Donna Rebadow
Fr. Nathan introduces us to Donna Rebadow who is a Mystic, Near-Death Experiencer, Sports Medicine Acupuncturist, host of the "Exploring Consciousness" Podcast, and author of “Wednesdays with Sadie, the Miracle Dog.”

In the summer of 1998, Donna had a Near Death Experience that changed how she viewed herself, the world, and other dimensions. After this experience, Donna started exploring consciousness by attending noetic-type workshops with the Monroe Institute, Dr. Bill Bengston, Dr. Joe Dispenza, and Tom Campbell. She also has taken classes in remote viewing, associative remote viewing, Tarot training with Richard Knight, and evidential mediumship with Suzanne Giesemann.
Donna taught at the community college level in Arizona for 30 years in the areas of Health, Wellness, Psychology, and Alternative Medicine. She opened her own Sports Medicine Acupuncture practice in 2010, which included treating Major League Baseball players, and elite and Olympic athletes.
Donna is a humanitarian, musician, former professional athlete, and consciousness adventurer and was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame with her Wayland Baptist University teammates.
Donna will be a virtual guest panelist at the Spiritual Awakenings (SAI) Conference on June 8th, and an in-person guest presenter at the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS) in August.
